The film, inspired by the Indian Armed Forces’ recent actions against terror bases, quickly sparked debate online.
Operation Sindoor Poster Sparks Debate
The film’s poster, shared by Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films and The Content Engineer, features a female soldier in uniform, holding a rifle and applying sindoor on her forehead. The background shows tanks, explosions, and fighter jets, symbolizing the operation’s intensity. The story is based on India’s operation against terror bases in Pakistan on May 6 and 7, carried out in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

Director Clarifies Intentions and Posts Apology
Taking to Instagram, Uttam Maheshwari addressed the controversy. He stated that his aim was never to hurt anyone’s sentiments or seek personal gain. “My sincere apologies for recently announcing a film based on Operation Sindoor. The intent was never to provoke or hurt anyone. I was deeply moved by the courage and sacrifice of our soldiers and leadership,” he wrote.
Maheshwari emphasized that the film was born out of recognition for the kingdom and not for repute or monetization. He mentioned the sensitivity of the timing, pronouncing, I understand the timing can cause discomfort or pain to a few. For that, I deeply regret it.”
