- After years of delays in The Subansiri Lower Project is India’s largest hydroelectric venture. NHPC has achieved key construction milestones, including the completion of steel liner works and the inauguration state-of-the-art control room.
- As per the latest exchange filing, NHPC expects to begin commissioning three units, 250MW each, from June. This will be started after getting the final clearance from the National Dam Safety Authority, or NDSA. Once it’s operational, it will supply power to 17 states like Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, etc.
