Storyline of Maa
It’s a mythological horror film, where Kajol can be seen as Maa, who travels with her daughter Shweta to their ancestral village Chandrapur to sell their old house. They both get to know a dark secret. A centuries-old curse is there, where girls were sacrificed to appease Goddess Kali and stop a terrifying demon. As the evil force strengthens and threatens Ambika’s (Kajol) daughter. But at last, as a mother, she awakens her inner goddess to fight back the evil spirit.

The movie is filled with myths and family drama, where Kajol can be seen as a brave mother. She is fighting a terrible curse and scary demons to save her daughter in a haunted village. In the movie, touching scenes of mother and daughter are found scary moments, but sometimes the story is slow and a little old-fashioned. But still, Kajol’s amazing acting and the visuals make the movie more interesting.

Kajol’s latest movie, Maa, has got an 8.4 rating out of 10 on the movie review website IMDb with more than 9K votes. On the other hand, it managed to secure a 7.5 rating out of 10 on the online ticket booking platform BookMyShow, with more than 7.5K votes.
