Storyline and Casting
In the exciting crime drama Kubera, Mumbai Tycoon Neeraj Mitra discovers a secret oil reserve and devises a plan for the ultimate power, prompting him to enlist the notorious CBI officer Deepak to do his dirty work. Their plan takes a wild turn when Deva, a kind beggar, is unconsciously trapped online, discovers that he is marked for death, and is making a brave escape. With a greedy businessman, a disputed policeman, and a refugee Dalit, the chase gets intense. It is a roller coaster of chases of survival, betrayal, and unexpected bravery in the center of the chaos of Mumbai.
The Kuberaa cast Dhanush as Deva, the street-smart underdog; Nagarjuna Akkineni as Deepak, the conflicted CBI officer; Rashmika Mandanna as Sameera, the determined ally. Apart from them, Jim Sarbh, Sunaina, Dalip Tahil, Priyanshu Chatterjee can also be seen in the movie.
