The Story of Kesari 2 and Cast
The movie is based on true stories of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, which was described in a book called ‘The Case That Shook the Nation’ by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The truth behind the tragedy is presented to the audience through a gripping courtroom battle that challenges colonial power and ignites a wave of patriotic resistance.
Here, Akshay Kumar can be seen in C. Sankaran Nair’s role. On the opposite side R. Madhavan can be seen as a British lawyer Neville McKinley. Apart from them, Ananya Pandey, Simon Paisley Day, Regina Cassandra, Alexx O’Nell can be seen in important roles.
Competition Ahead as ‘Raid 2’ Releases
Though the box office collection was looking steady and good Kesari 2 now faces competition. The much-awaited Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ movie is releasing today. After ‘Raid 1’, the hype for Raid 2 is high among viewers. Also, new releases like Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Ground Zero’ is stealing some revenue.

As of today, 1st April 2025, Kesari 2 has got an 8.4 rating out of 10 on IMDb with more than 5K reviews. Also, on Book My Show, the movie has got 9.3 out of 10 with more than 43K votes. This proves viewers are pretty much impressed with the movie.
