The movie Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Truth is making good money in box office. As of today Kesari 2 Box Office Collection has crossed Rs 70.69 Cr in total collection. On first week of release it made Rs 46.1 Cr and is now looking towards recovering the budget.

Kesari 2 Storyline
The movie is based on the true events on the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre and a court case which shook the empire. This story is inspired by the book ‘The Case that Shook the Nation’ by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palata.
Cast and Budget
Akshay Kumar can be seen as Chettur Sankaran Nair. Apart from him, R Madhavan, Ananya Pandey, Regina Cassandra, Simon Paisley Da,y and Alexx O’Nell can be seen in the film.
As per the report, the movie is made with a budget of Rs 150 crore. Where Akshay Kumar charged between Rs 60-145 Crore, he also shares profits of the film.
Competitions Coming
Although the movie is performing well at the box office, it might face competition soon. As Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 is about to release tomorrow, 1st May. Viewers are eagerly waiting for Raid 2. Will it steal Kesari 2’s audience share? Only time will tell.
