Today, 10th April 2025, The Indian Stock Market is closed on the eve of Mahavir Jayanti. This is a Holiday for the stock market. Thus BSE and NSE will not open today for any trades.

In April, there are three holidays. Normally the Stock Market is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Apart from this, the holidays are,

- 14th April – Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti
- 14th April – Good Friday
On the above-mentioned dates trading activities on NSE and BSE will remain closed.
This means Equity Segment. The equity Derivative Segment, SLB, and Currency Segment all are closed today for Mahavir Jayanti. However, the Commodity Derivatives Segment will remain in the morning session and open in the evening session. The morning session works 9 am to 5 pm and the evening session works 5 pm to 11.30 or 11.55 pm.
