Recently, Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Fantastic Four: The first steps, which marks Marvel’s official beginning to Marvel’s first family in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film will meet theaters on July 25, 2025.
Fantastic Four: The first steps Trailer
The trailer introduced Reid Richards (Pedro Pascal), Suu Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grim (Ibon Moss-Bachrach), and Johnny Storm (Joseph Quin) as a close team. Reed and Suu have been shown to be married and expect a child, adding a fresh family dynamic to the superhero saga.
When Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) comes with a strict warning, the story takes a dark turn: “Your planet is now marked for death.” This indicates the arrival of the cosmic unit Galactus (Ralph Unenes), which threatens to consume the Earth. A subsequent scene contains Galactus passing through the city of New York, which indicates a large scale of adjacent danger.
In a stylishly inspired retro-phuturistic world from the 1960s, the film leaves the original story and dives directly into the team’s heroic journey, which balances the family’s ties with a struggle to save the planet.
