Not only viewers ‘Chhaava’ appreciated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi also at the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. PM said, ‘Ye Maharastra aur Mumbai hi hai jisne Marathi filmon ke saath Hindi cinema ko bhi unchaiya di hai. Aur in dino toh Chhaava ka dhoom macha hai’.
Controversy Regarding Chhaava
There was a controversy as well regarding the movie. The dance sequence of Vicky Kaushal, as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, performing Lezim dance with Rashmika Mandanna or Maharani Yasubai make viewers angry. Netizens reacted with backlash, and as a result Director Laxman Utekar confirmed there will be no dance with wife in the film.
