PM Modi’s Appreciation Of Chhaava
Chhaava is creating an international sensation and it didn’t go unnoticed by India’s leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the film, its makers, and its cast at the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in New Delhi. He said, “Ye Maharashtra aur Mumbai hi hai jisne Marathi filmon ke saath-saath, Hindi cinema ko ye unchai di hai. Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai.”

Movie Storyline
Chhaava is a cinematic recreation of the second king of the Maratha Empire, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The movie tells of the roles Sambhaji Maharaj (Vicky Kaushal) and his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale (Rashmika Mandanna) played, in the war that begins in the wake of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja’s death. We can see Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb leading the Mughal side of the war. Chhaava also features Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Diana Penty, who play key roles.
