Bazooka Box Office Collection: The Malayalam cinema industry’s new crime-action thriller is off to a great start. Bazooka is Deeno Dennis’ debut as a director and a screenwriter. Deeno Dennis’ late father, Kaloor Dennis, is a renowned scriptwriter who collaborated with actor Mammootty on 24 films. The screenwriter revealed that he had no intentions of directing the film, but Mammootty convinced and encouraged him to launch his debut in both roles.

According to Sachnilk, the movie tracker, Bazooka is performing well in theatres on its opening day. The Movie collected 0.22 crores so far. The numbers are subject to updates as and when available. However, critics believe that the plotline and Mammootty’s fan base alone will gather enough momentum for the movie to earn the expected numbers.

Mammootty fans are disappointed with the cinematography and the shades of his character in the film. While some believe Deeno Dennis did a decent job in his first direction, others disagree and say the direction compromised the actors’ full potential.

About Bazooka: Story and Cast
Bazooka is a crime-action thriller that revels in an alliance between the Kerala police and a businessman who likes to play in the grey. The aim of their handshake deal is to capture and arrest a criminal haunting the streets of the state and disrupting society. Throughout the story, the business and the law-enforcement teams plan schemes and traps to catch the criminal and test his potential to stay out of their traps.
The Movie casts Mammootty as Antony John and Gautham Vasudev Menon in the lead roles. Babu Antony, Neeta Pillai, Gayathri Iyer, and Divya Pillai, as Annie Benjamin, also play defining roles in the narrative. The supporting cast includes Jagadish, Sidharth Bharathan as Arjun Ramaswamy, Iswarya Menon as Jovita, and Shine Tom Chacko as Franco Salvatore.
